AirAsia is the cheapest air fare that I can get in Malaysia. Now come a new budget air fare company FireFly launched early of April. Here is the total air fare flying from Penang to Langkawi = RM48 both way!
Now, let's compare to local ferry fare from Penang to Langkawi. Total is RM95 both way. Eerrmm......ferry so expensive and slow. Next time, maybe ppl will switch to FireFly and no more ferry service? I gonna try the flight end of May, let's c how safe and fast it is. :p (pray for me)
Ferry : RM95 both way, 2 hrs 30 min
FireFly : RM48 both way, 30 min

so? how is the price? i think add liao tax and surcharge also won't be too expensive compared to ferry kua...
