CNY in Peang

My colleague told me that every year in Penang, on the 7th of Chinese New Year, there will be a celebration near to GeorgeTown. So, I went there together with my colleague to feel the ‘heat’ of the celebration. :p
WOW! There are so many Chinese traditional events happening over there and cultural performances which have already vanished from my hometown. I was able to watch the traditional puppet show and the amazing historical building.
My colleague asked me whether will attend the celebration next year? Well, I will. I miss out so many interesting events. The celebration started at 5pm, but we reached there around 8.30pm. 我要慢慢欣赏中华文化的美。

童话 Fairy tale

男同事问我，多几年后是不是嫁人，然后回怡保过着幸福快乐的生活？我当然想啦！但是那只会在童话故事里出现，现实生活是不可能的。

童话是什么？Wikipedia找来了答案：童话是一种文学作品，通常是给小孩子的，字品通俗，象儿童说话一样。一般童话里有很多超自然人物，如会说话的动物，精灵，仙女，巨人等。大多童话人物是公主和王子，有快乐的结局。

发觉童话是从西方国家发起的。中国古代爱情故事，多是悲剧收场或普普通通的结局。古代的公主是没有婚姻选择权的，被嫁去别的国家也是为了建立两国的和好关系. 更多：七世夫妻。

小时候，我们看了太多童话式的卡通片（美人鱼，白雪公主，睡美人等等）。似乎潜意识里认为生活就能像童话般美丽。走在街上，应该有90%的女孩希望自己能像童话里的公主一样找个白马王子结婚去，然后过着幸福美满的生活。

这种心态，好像不是很健康， 因为远离了现实。所期待的“童话”不会出现，但只会把自己弄得遍体鳞伤。现实的爱情，不会像故事或影片那么“漂亮”，爱情是生活的一部分。每分每秒爱情在走着，每分每秒爱情在改变，每分每秒爱情在考验。。。。。。。学会生活，学会爱人。

童话是梦，别睡下去了，醒来吧！

My colleague asked me, am I going to get married later and move back to Ipoh….and live happily ever after. Yayaya……I oso wished to. But this will only happen in fairy tale, not in real world.

What is fairy tale? Wikipedia : A fairy tale is a story featuring folkloric characters such as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, giants, talking animals and others. These stories often involve royalty, and modern versions usually have a happy ending.

Most of the “happy ending” fairy tale came from the West. In the East, all the love stories will have a “sad ending” or ordinary ending. Princesses in ancient China are married to other countries in order to tie a good relationship with that country.

Nowadays, most of the girls like fairy tales. Maybe we watched too much Disney cartoon (Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Little Mermaid, etc). We wished that one day we found our handsome prince and have a happy life. Ermmm……….that one is a fairy tale, in real life love story may not be such “pretty” as the cartoon or movie. Love is moving, changing, growing every second. Learn to live, learn to love. CHEERS!

DEaTh nOtE 2

Death Note 2 has the same exciting story line as Death Note 1. The good guy will not always be the good guy. Not always bad guy will die in the end. U will not know what will happen next.The ending of DN2 will be different from the manga. Anyway, it ends great!

Y the Death God wanna give the book to human? I dunno, maybe the Death God is tooooo boring? Another thing is..............human cannot have extraordinary power. We will misuse it....for sure(jz look at the politicians!)

My rating : 4.5/5. The 0.5 is bcos a bit boring in the end. :p

'Sakai' driver

We make “sakai” drivers proud.
Friday, I went to Queensbay with my colleague. At the roundabout, I saw one stupid driver doing some stupid thing. The scenario is described below. I just voiced out that I hate those drivers.

The red car is that stupid car.

My colleague said: “Maybe he dunno the way he is going.”
Then, I replied: “Then he should keep to the middle lane”.
Another colleague said: “The roundabout is too big (4 lanes), there is no right or wrong to do this.”
Then, I: -_-”

Today, I try to think about it again. What if a big lorry blocking the vision of the left side car, and that car accelerate fast, will it crash with that stupid car? Then, we blame the stupid driver?

The green coloured is a big lorry, blocking the vision of the orange coloured car. The orange car accelerate try to take over the green lorry and the red car on the way of turning. If can break immediately, no accident will happen. If no…….the answer is shown.

Okie. Who tolerate such kind of stupid act? When accident happens, will it be only the stupid driver who will get hurt? The traffic rules are some stupid things to trouble people but not to ensure public safety?

I saw an accident a month ago. A kelisa hit a car from behind. That car wanted to turn right into a car washing area. That car had made a turning signal and stopped there a few seconds already; theoretically, the Kelisa should have seen it from far and avoided that car. But.....some how the Kelisa hit it! My first thought: The Kelisa driver is sooooo careless.

After a few days, I found out that turning is not allowed over that place! A double line! The reason to have double line and no turning over there......have u figure it out?

**There r exceptional cases. Anyway, jz try to follow the rules. U r safe and others ppl r safe oso.

Civilization sickness

Yesterday night, I came back from bus station. Then, I decided to talk the stairs and walk up to my apartment. When I reached 2nd floor, a man standing in front of the lift asked me”Lifet rosak ke?” “Tak ada Tak ada....” I answered.

He must be thinking that I’m crazy one, taking the stairs instead the lift. Okie....i’m not.crazy. I jz wanna work out my body. Everyday, I jz makan ->duduk->makan->duduk.

At the beginning, when I reached 2nd floor, I alr LEMAH..... How am I going to backpack later? :S

City ppl got superb superb food, vitamins and medic compare to long long time ago. But still got many many ppl sick compare last time. haih~~~

中立主义派

从朋友的部落格看见了这个小测验。在政治立场，我没有个人的立场。我永远都想不通政治家的思维。就好像台湾，打得你死我活，选了一个让台湾没有安稳的日子的总统。

我的政治立场是中立主义派。外表看来，好像对身边的事物不理不睬。其实，我只是觉得用同一个观念去处理每件事，是不可能的。世界每天都在变，今天的政策可能不能用在未来的日子，古老的政策也不一定能用在现代。

7 years itch七年之痒

1/1/2007与男朋友去Mid Valley逛街。我们跑去翡翠美食用餐。炒饭好大碟，味道还好啦，味精不是很重（吃了不会口渴），服务超快！叉烧鸡饭RM9.80, 澳门炒饭RM11.80, 香港奶茶RM3.50.

跟我的男朋友来张合照。嘻嘻！还有半年就要七年了！朋友问我害怕“七年之痒”吗？香港有个“七年很痒”的影片。我还没去看，但从戏名已经猜到是什么了。真的有“七年之痒”这回事吗？哈哈！要痒何必要等七年？十年也能痒。三年也能痒啦！要痒的话，随时都能痒啦！

要不要痒？那就要看你，还有你的伴侣了。爱情可以很复杂，也可以很简单！ 你心中做出了选择了吗？

The first day of year 2007, I went to Mid Valley with my boyfriend. Having our dinner at Hong Kong style C-Jade Express. The food taste ok, their service is fast!

Here is the photo we took at that place. Hehe. Half year more, our relationship will be 7 years old. My friend asked me whether I will be scare of “7 year itch”. Marilyn Monroe had a movie called “7 Year Itch”, HongKong has a movie called “Itchy Heart”. Never watch those movies before, but can guess from the title what those movies about.

Does “7 Year Itch” really exists? If wanna get itchy, no need to wait 7 years lah. 10 years, 3 years, 1 month also can get itchy if you wish to. Yourself and you partner can choose want to get itchy or not. Relationship can be complex but can be simple too! So, have you make up your mind? :p

if oil yau ka, salt yau ka.....THEN salary yau ka. NEVERMIND. but HK ppl income is higher than us although their inflation is high. Here, MA LAI XI YA,inflation very very HIGH but salary very very low. HOW to SURVIVE?

Actually, I not anti development one. :( Those tolls are very very annoying one. 2 years ago, the toll near Mines Wonderland increased from RM1 to RM1.30. If now increase again, it will reach to RM2. What is worse is the highway in less than 1KM. Some more, when reach the bottlenet at Serdang there, traffic jam. Ah..........paying RM1.30 to jam and jz less than 1KM. Highway is for fast moving traffic, wtf, I need to jam while paying the tolls.

Another thing is all the stupid sign boards lead driver to tolls! AND last time, my sister and I jam at the Sunway highway for 2 hours!!! Not because of accident, is just the delay at toll and we need to jam for 2 hours in 3KM. ^%$^%##%$#%$#$@$#!$!# PAY FOR THE JAM????????
The more i cakap tentang toll, the higher is my blood pressure.

Disaster Rescue and Relief

读着南马大水灾的新闻，有人在水灾中丧失了性命。矛头当然指向政府没效率的救灾工作。哎。。。。其实这也不是完全是政府的错。政府当然有义务救他的人民，但是我们也应该先保护自己和最亲的人。

平时没有未雨绸缪的政府哪能顺顺利利展开救灾工作呢？既然等不到救援队伍，在48小时内，那位受害者的家人应该能在这段蛮长的时间把受害者送到医院去吧？如果你真的相信超人会来救你。。。。恭喜你。你不是地球人。请问你是从那个星球来的？

灾难发生时，成千上万的人需要帮助，而且救人的人也是普通人而已，不是超人，蜘蛛侠，蝙蝠侠。。。。。。请振作起来！能的话，自己救自己！以下是一些简单的急救知识。不是叫你做大英雄去救人，是要你能救自己，也救你身边最亲的人。

Reading news on flood happens at the North of Malaysia. Someone is killed because she didn’t receive medical treatment on time. So, people will just blame government. Okie…..yup, government is not doing their best to save people trapped in the flood, but citizen should do their part also!

Our government is not well prepare for disaster rescue and relief work. Therefore, we should not expect government rescue team will save you from disaster on time. For 48 hours, the victim family should have think of many ways to rescue and send the victim to hospital. If you think that Superman will come and save you……..Congratulations! You are not from the earth. Which planet are you from?

When disaster happened, thousand of people need help. Some more, the rescue team is just normal human being, not Superman, Spiderman, Batman or Xmen. Save yourself first if you can do it! Below is some basic first aid knowledge. Not to ask you become super hero to save people, but for you to save yourself and your family.

New year gift for KL resident

Start from 1/1/2007, some of the toll in KL will increase their fees up to 50%. Last time this tol is RM0.70 only and now is RM1. From Sg. Long to Mid Valley, i need to go through 3 tols. RM0.60 + RM0.70 + RM0.50 = RM1.80 for last year. Now is RM0.90 + RM1 + RM0.50 = RM2.40.

Any increase in salary? I know petrol price increase, rental increase, the price for everything increase except money in wallet decrease. Getting harder to live in KL. haih~~~

Getting Married???????

Today very free......swimming in my friendster and viewing my friends' photos. Then, I saw my secondary school classmate, her baby photo. :S Oh well, I'm 26 now (jz celebrate New Year, bye bye 25 yrs old .....) Getting married soon? Sometimes,I do want to have those simple life: Get married -> baby baby -> housewife (taking care my family full time). Then I can go to sleep any time, take my bath any time, cook any time ...........:p but.......sounds a bit boring. Hahaha. When will I get married? Errmmmm.........dunno wor :D

Christmas gift 2006

Long time din blog :p bz playing with Photoshop. I went to my friend’s Toastmaster Xmas party. Here is my xmas gift :D

The gift exchange event is different from the others. We can choose the gift! Meanwhile, other people can choose the gift chosen by you. There is one gift every one is fighting for (just for fun) and it ends up is a toilet paper container. Wuahahaha!

Ok. Some comments: u can have this kind of event for adults or teenagers, not prefer kids. Sounds rude to take away ppl’s gift, maybe that child will ends up crying. Another good way to educate the kids: Nothing is forever in this world. The thing belongs to u may no own by u tomorrow. So, appreciate what you have now!

上个星期去朋友的圣诞派对。他们的礼物交换环节有点特别，我们可以选礼物！但是。。。。。别人也可选你选了的礼物（就是抢你的礼物咯！）

有个礼物被好多人抢来抢去（全部抢爽的！），最后打开这礼物才发现是个装卫生纸盒。哈哈哈！这是我的礼物：

一些小意见：这环节比较适合成年人或少年。感觉上比较没礼貌抢别人的礼物。用于小孩的话，可能会弄哭小朋友。另一方面，我们要教导小朋友，世事无常，你不能永恒的拥有一些东西，人或事。（听起来好深奥哦！:p）

GoodBye My friend

I dun really remember how old is she, should be around 9 to 10 years old. I remember the time where my sister bring her back. My mom does not allow us to rear any pets last time (cause it will end up that my mother will be taking care of them :p).Then my little and naughty sister jz bring home the little puppy without letting my mother know in advanced(cantonese speaking "xin zam hao zao").

She is a cute, active and playful puppy. So, we named it as "Happy". My friends will laugh when I call her name. When my sister or I came back from KL or Penang once a month, "Happy" will be very very happy to welcome us.

She knows wat am I talking to her, cause every time when i talk to her, she will wet her nose and 'sob' 'sob'. Every morning, she will follow my father any where and sit beside him while he is reading newspapers.

Last Saturday night, she pass away. I managed to be beside her, pray for her and talk to her. I miss her.

Hot hot hot

我喝最多酒的时候就是背包旅行时。Eric说啤酒能消暑，所以我就试试。在越南时，真的真的好热！那时候是夏天，天气比马来西亚还要热。大家都好想躲在房间里，不要出去，但是我们是来旅行的呢！怎能把宝贵时间浪费在房间里呢？ The time that I drink a lot of beer is the time during backpack. Eric said that beer can cold down our body. So, I tried it out. During that time, Vietnam is in summer season. 3 of us (semua tropical country mari) cannot tahan the heat! 我们热到不想再走。Lemah…..the weather is very very hot!

找个有冷气的餐厅解暑。我点了啤酒，喝到一半，有点晕晕的感觉。 Found a café with air-con. I ordered a glass of beer, drink half of it, feeling ‘pening’ alr. Here is my 'mabuk' look

其中一位在酒吧里工作的女孩。（比我还有像华人）在越南人眼里，马来西亚是个工作天堂，只知道很多越南人跑来淘金。One of the bar tender (she has a typical Chinese look than me). Vietnamese just know Malaysia as a “jobs heaven”, many Vietnamese come here to work. Why local people complaining no jobs while foreigners see Malaysia as a “jobs heaven”? Haih~~~ This is Malaysia “BOLEH”

Lari Lari

当我对吉隆坡的路线有点熟悉后，我就离开了。在那儿六年了，因为开始时没有车驾，有很多地方都不会去。有了车后也不是很敢到处走走，迷路了，给toll钱也给到怕怕！城市越广，人群越大，彼此心灵的距离也很遥远。

A Level 后，跟朋友去喝茶，谈到未来。那些好学生当然不用担心啦，那些成绩中等的（就像我）就。。。嗨。。。。

朋友问我要去哪儿？我说：“哪儿都好，不是KL就可以了！”哪知道。。。。 我跟KL的缘分还没结束，尽然去了KL隔壁的Cyberjaya.

四年后，毕业了！朋友再次问去哪儿？这次没有“除了”这字眼，太邪门了！（我不要再留在这儿啊！）拿到槟城的工作时好开心。我不用留在KL了。槟城应该是个可爱的小岛吧！

English version: When I know how to go to 1Utama, Midvalley, Setapak, Kajang, Sunway,etc, I’m going to leave KL. I stayed in KL for almost 6 years. The first few years, I dun have car. On my 3rd and final uni year, I also not brave enough to drive around in KL. When u r lost, u will pay for the toll, not 1 toll but multiple tolls, but still cannot reach the destination.

After finished my A-Level, we go out and have fun. My friend asked me where will I go to further my study? I said: “Any where, EXCEPT KL.”

Then……….I’m in Cyberjaya(a place beside KL) to further my studies. The first year in Cyberjaya was a night mare.

After 4 yrs, I’m grad. Again we go out makan. The same question is being asked AGAIN. This time, I dun want to use the word “EXCEPT”. Now, I’m in Penang, a small and lovely and full of yummy food island. At last, I left KL. Yeah !

Pulau Jerejak

Pulau Jerejak.......eerrmmm......... a quiet place to visit when u need a peaceful environment. My father told me last time it is a prison. It has spa service but u can't swim in the sea. Many many many jelly fish will play with u.

Queensbay

A new shopping mall in Penang island opened on 1 Dec last week. Then my colleague went there to try out the newly paint smell...........

Then i went there again on 3 Dec to buy clothes. Nicchi got sales! hehehe......

Queensbay is located near to beach. Nice view in front of it. Can go for evening walk before going to shopping...hahaha.....

钱不够用

发觉原来要浪费钱是那么地容易，那么地不知不觉。买了衣服没有穿，鞋子没有穿，手表没有戴，手提袋没有提，化妆品没有用，护肤品没有用，保健品没有吃，食物没有吃，书没有读，笔没有写，车没有驾，屋没有住。。。。。。。。。。

那一点一点被浪费的钱加起来应该不少吧！

算一算，我有两条新裙子还没穿过（我不会配搭裙和衣），护唇膏没用（买爽的），化妆品很少用（我喜欢用自然美来吓人），巧克力还没吃完（还在冰箱），有一本书还没看完（买了好久）。。。。。还有。。。。。还有。。。。。。

钱不够用？真的吗？

To waste money is easy and undetectable. buy clothes but never wear it, new shoes,new hand bags, new watch, new cosmetic, new skin care products, new books, new pen, new car, new house...............but all never use.Can u imagine how much is wasted?

I have 2 new skirts never wear b4(i dunno how to match skirts with shirts),new lip balm seldom use(enjoying buying),cosmetic seldom use(i like to scare people off with my natural look),chocolates not finish yet(still in the fridge), a book not yet finish reading.............
